Having just suffered a race ending failure of its rear differential and housing, the Dean Schlingmann Motorsports team went back to work looking to solve the problems which had plagued its race program in the recent past. It appeared to come down to a simple issue with a not-so-simple resolution.
The rain and cold weather of Laughlin, Nevada threatened to make the SNORE Rage at the River event a swampy mess but the Boshart Motorsports sponsored F150 of DSM was prepared for battle and ready for whatever Mother Nature had in store. Off the starting line in the fifth position (out of six), the driving team of Dean Schlingmann and Joe Reinbold went to work quickly hunting down their competitors.
